The slimmest model of Nokia, the 5310 XpressMusic was released around
2008 in three colors - Blue, Red and Black. As the name suggests, it is a
part of the XpressMusic series of Nokia phones, and it satisfies the tag
of a music phone very well. The most stunning amongst several other key
features is that it is just 9.9 mm thin and very light to carry. Being a
music phone, it sports dedicated music keys on the left of the screen for
play / pause, Next and Previous track. The speakers are on the lateral
side of the phone and provide crystal clear sound, as it comes with a
dedicated internal audio chip. Music playback is of around 20 hours and
can be also played through the headset / speakers provided in the
package. Also, the battery has a talk time of 5.4 hours and standby time
of 300 hours which is amazing in its own respect.
Now coming on to the imaging part of the phone, it has a 2 MP camera with
4x digital zoom and overall has a good camera feature. The phone is based
on the 5th Edition Series 40 user interface and can run a host of mobile
applications ranging from games, image viewers to web browsers and email
managers. The phone comes bundled with a 1 GB extendable memory card,
along with a charger, speakers, and a headset.
Overall, the phone delivers a satisfying mixture of great sound quality,
easy and handy user interface with good looks and credibility for money.
For me it is a steal at such low price.
