Study Schedule for Final Examinations (POST THIS IN A VERY NOTICABLE PLACE)
Study time should be broken down into 30-45 minute blocks with a short break in between (5min). This allows your mind to refocus, regroup and digest the information
that you just gathered. As you get closer to exams, extend your study time to 1 hous per subject with a 5 min break every 30min.
Remember that studying must be "Active" to be effective. Simply reading over your notes is not effective - you must follow the 4 R's when preparing for examinations.
Constantly look for "tricks" to help you learn your material. This includes patterns, anagrams, diagrams etc. Understanding HOW different concepts relate to one
another is key for a thorough understanding on how topics are related.
Download the study guide AS SOON AS IT IS POSTED. This topic list should guide your learning - use it to determine the headins of the topics.
Base your study time on the duration that you studied the material. It is pointless to spend the majority of your time looking at tiny details that made up a small part of
your course.
