Covenant Blessings
DAY 06: Communion
One thing about covenant is that each parties involved has the right to act on behalf of
the other in any situation; an example was when king Abimelech took Abraham s wife,
to have sex with her (Gen 20:1-8), God intervened. Through out the Bible God, because
of covenant relationship, always step into His people s situation to make things work in
their favor. One way He does that is by releasing the blessing (empowerment to
prosper) into their life. When Jesus Christ was finally leaving the earth after
resurrection, Luke 24:50-51 recorded that And he led them (His disciples) out until they
were over against Bethany: and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. And it came
to pass, while he blessed them, he parted from them, and was carried up into heaven .
Prior to this time, Jesus Christ had established a new covenant on our behalf with God,
through the communion.
Apostle Paul having received it from Jesus Christ described the communion as The Cup
of blessing (1Corinthians 10:16), meaning that when we partake of it, blessings flow into
our life. Jesus Christ said we should partake of it in remembrance of Him (Mathew
26:26, Luke 22:19, Mark14:22 and 1Corinthians 11:24) and the early church did just that
(Acts 2:42, 46).
Jesus once said to the crowd, Truly, truly, I say to you, except you eat the flesh of the
Son of man, and drink his blood, you have no life in you John 6:53. This life is harsh on
sickness, diseases, demons and all satanic devices but a plus to your life. Break your

PRAYER TIME
1. Covenant keeping God, thank you so much for the covenant relationship I have
with you through Jesus Christ.
2. In the name of Jesus Christ, I declare that Jesus Christ has redeemed me from
the curse of the law and every other curse that exist in my family, my home town,
this city, nation and any other palace the soul of my foot will step.
3. I declare that I am a child of God and as such, I have the blessings of Abraham
in my life and henceforth that blessing will manifest greatly in Jesus name.
4. In the name of Jesus Christ, as I partake of the communion today, the life of God
will flow continuously in my life.
5. I declare that that uncommon wisdom in Jesus Christ (Mark6:2) will manifest in
me hencefor th after today s communion in Jesus name.
6. Father, as I take the communion today, let your divine healing take place in my
body and henceforth, I walk in divine health.
7. My Father and my God, as I take the communion today, let my eyes be opened
to your word, to your work and to your purpose in my Life.Luke24:13 -34
8. Father, fill my spirit with uncommon strength as I take into my body the flesh and
blood of Jesus.
9. As I take the communion today, every blessing in it must flow into my life, in
Jesus name.
10. Today s communion will not bring me into condemnation but manifestation of the
glory of the Father.
Preparing the Communion
Things you need:
Bread (enough to enter your mouth once);
Drink: any of these; Black Currant / Non alcoholic wine / where none is available, use
coca cola.
What you need to know
Before you eat the communion, the bread and drink remains what they are but after you
lift them up to heaven and you give thanks to God, asking God less it (pray in tongues if
you are already speaking), it becomes the communion. Like Jesus Christ did, you must
declare them as the body of Jesus Christ and His blood.
Communion time
a. Sing songs of praise and worship to God.
b. Read Matthew 26:26
c. Lift up the bread, thank God for the works of Christ
d. Ask God to bless the content of the cup and the bread (1 Corinthians10:16)
e. Starting with the body, say: "this is the body of Jesus Christ broken for me .
f. With the cup in your hand, say this is the blood of the new testament, which is
shed for many for the remission of their sins.
g. Eat the body now and after a few seconds, drink the blood.
I. Make this declaration: By the power in the life of God in me now, I declare that
the power of sickness, affliction and satanic deposit is destroyed now in Jesus
name. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, therefore every thing that is not of
God in it is banished from it forever, in Jesus name
II. I draw into my mind, the wisdom (mention any thing you see in the life of Jesus
Christ on earth) of God present in the communion now! In Jesus name.
III. Hence forth, men and women will behold my glory as a child of God; it will be
evident in all I do henceforth in Jesus name.
IV. Luke22:43, 1King19:5-8. In Jesus Name, by this communion, I receive spiritual
strength and stamina to go through 2012.
