Software Development Maintenance Engineer
Mission: work as Development Maintenance engineer: support customers, analyze issues,
develop fixes and test the patches. Contribute to develop processes and tools for maintenance
activity.

Requirements:
university graduate ideally in IT (ev.electro, telecommunications)
programming language Java (J2SE, J2EE)
Unix like OS (HP UX, Sun Solaris, Linux)
SQL with Oracle databases
monitoring SNMP and Apache Tomcat experienced
knowledge of performing test in solution environment
knowledge of project development lifecycle
work methodology: good analytical mind and rigorous, stress resistant
good communication skill; easy and clear communication, comfortable on the phone
able to speak operational English; able to work in an international context
customer oriented
at least 3 years of working experience in software development
Job description:
The scope of the developer Maintenance Position is:
Maintenance: analyze the issues coming from Gemalto customers; develop patches to fix
bugs, play tests and package delivery to be installed on customer platform.
Test: validate the developed patches in a solution environment in running functional and/or
performance, robustness tests as example; use and enrich the tests delivered by project
teams.
Manage the relationship with first level support and R&D teams in order to ensure a high level
of communication to solve efficiently customer issues.
Development of tools to support maintenance activity (ex: traffic analysis, solution usage…)
