MADISON MAN SENTENCED FOR
DRUG AND GUN CRIMES
Madison, Wisconsin -- Erik C. Peterson, United States Attorney for the Western
District of Wisconsin, announced that Kylin Little, 28, of Madison, Wis., was sentenced
today by Chief U.S. District Judge Barbara B. Crabb to two 95-month concurrent terms
of imprisonment for delivering crack cocaine and for unlawfully possessing a firearm as
a convicted felon. Little’s sentences will be followed by a three-year term of supervised
release and he is not eligible for parole. Little pleaded guilty to these charges on
January 17, 2008.
At the plea hearing, Little admitted he sold crack cocaine to an undercover
officer on March 21, 2007 and that he sold a firearm to the same officer on March 22,
2007. Little was on probation at the time he committed the offenses, as he had just been
sentenced to a term of probation for felony substantial battery in Dane County Circuit
Court on March 2, 2007. Little’s term of probation in that case has been revoked and the
federal sentences imposed today will run consecutively to the state sentence.
The charges against Little were the result of an investigation conducted by
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Dane County Narcotics
and Gang Task Force. The prosecution of the case has been handled by Assistant U.S.
Attorney Rita M. Rumbelow.
