Steps to Work is a new contract awarded by the DEL,
replacing the former New Deal Programme. Wade Training
was successful in their bid for the Southern Region which
covers Newry, Portadown, Lurgan and Armagh.
The Steps to Work initiative has been introduced to:
Provide a flexible menu of training to assist unemployed and
economically inactive people back into work
Support people who move into employment and help them
sustain that employment
Provide high quality provision to meet individual and local
labour needs
