Graphs of Motion
Purpose: To use the ticker tape timer to help create displacement versus time, velocity
versus time, and acceleration versus time graphs for an object in freefall.
Rules and Hints:
The ticker tape timer unit is Hertz (Hz). 60 Hz equals 60 dots per second.
Put the data you are graphing in a table before you create each graph.
Remember your units!!!!
You should have 5-10 points in each table and 5-10 points on each
corresponding graph. It is not necessary to tabulate or graph every single
point you collect.
