(10) At the end of the story, Rag is doing something funny.

Activities



1. Draw a picture of your bathtub. Then write a sentence about it.



2. Draw one of the animals from the story. Then write a sentence.



3. Make a list of items that people need to take a bath.



4. Create your own bubble bath. Write what ingredients it has and

then draw a picture.









Introduction



1. Have items on desk associated with bathtime. (Ex: soap, washcloth,

and bubble bath). Ask student what items they use when they take a

bath. Say today in our story, someone is having a lot of fun at

bathtime.



2. Have a hog or a picture of a hog on desk. Discuss with students

whether pigs take baths or if they should take baths. Say today in our

story, we read about a hog that has lots of fun in the tub.



3. Have a picture of a bathtub. Ask student if they take a bath or a

shower. Ask if they think taking a bath is fun or if they dislike it. Say

today in our story, we read about having fun in the tub.
