Each year, our National Jandal Day supporters come up with some creative and original ideas for
holding great events.
Let your imagination go wild and you'll come up with all sorts of event ideas. Here are some of the more
popular and effective ways of raising money:
Sporting Events
Golf Days/Office Mini Golf
A social fundraiser for clubs and the workplace. Bring an element of competition into it and hold prizes and
challenges at different holes.
Sports Tournaments
Hold a day of fun and get lots of people involved. Knock out tournaments work best and the winners get a
trophy – everyone pays an entry fee.
Charity Shield
Perfect for any team or individual sport. This could become an annual event between two rival businesses!
Social Events
Coffee morning or Cake Bake
Perfect for anywhere: school, work, at home. Get the talented cake bakers busy and ask for a gold coin
donation for the treats.
Mufti Day
Always popular at both work and school. A gold coin to take part but double the fine if you don't!
Quiz evening
Hold a general knowledge quiz at your local community centre or pub and charge an entry fee.

Great for schools! Design a large jandal and get the kids to attach coins so they can see how much they
have made.
