NEW YORK, Aug. 17 — CBSNews.com announces THE TOMORROW SHOW, a
weekly webcast debuting today, Monday, August 17. Anchored by CBS News Contributor Mo
Rocca, the light, lively and interactive online show contemplates what things might be like in the
future, from the probable to the possible to the bizarre and inventive.
Rocca brings his sharp wit to lively interactive discussions with scientists, authors,
confectioners, futurists and even MC Hammer as he takes a curious but never too serious look at
what may lie ahead in the worlds of technology, food, pop culture, the environment and more.
This week's topic focuses on the use of paper in the ever expanding digital age. Since its
origin in China 2200 years ago, paper's trail has been a long and winding one, but despite
technology's efforts to eliminate the need for paper, it shouldn't be filed away just yet. As Mo
Rocca finds out, from paper clothing to paper houses, tomorrow's paper could be the most
important of them all.
"I've always found it impossible to live in the present. But living in the past is just so
unproductive and unattractive. It's the best way to ruin a relationship. That's why I choose to live
in the future," said Rocca. "It's exciting but risky terrain. As a journalist I'm accountable for all
the things we say will happen 150 years from now."

Putnam County Spelling Bee.
"We're excited to be a part of this journey that will guide people through the latest
gadgets, cars, food, and inventions shaping our world," said CJ Bruno, VP, General Manger Intel
Americas. "The Tomorrow Show online series complements Intel's goal of being a ‘Sponsor of
Tomorrow' as we continue to deliver innovative products at the heart of everyday life,
empowering people."
"There is no better person than Mo Rocca to take our audience behind the curtain and
look at the endless possibilities of the future," said Mark Larkin, Vice President of
CBSNews.com. "THE TOMORROW SHOW will entertain and inform our audience, and we're
thrilled to add it to our expanding line-up of original content. We're committed to delivering
news and information that is unique and keeps our audience one step ahead."
