Cell Phones

POLICY:
Cellular phone service for University use should be purchased utilizing the State Contract with
Alltel, Verizon and Sprint.
Departments are charged monthly via a Journal Entry (ONL) or Journal Import (SSI) from the
UND Telecommunications Office.
If cellular phone service is to be purchased outside of the state contract, approval for an
exemption should be obtained from Telecommunications. Exempted cellular phone services
must be processed by submitting the phone service agreement and a Purchase Requisition to the
Purchasing Office for creation of a Blanket Purchase Order.
