The Tempest: SPEAR NOTES
Summary
It was in the Mediterranean island in the 15th centaury when ‘The
Tempest’ took place. Prospero and his daughter Miranda were
banished to the island by Prospero’s jealous brother Antonio who was
help by Alonso. At the island Prospero met a deformed monster named
Caliban. Miranda and her father both taught Caliban their language and
in return Caliban taught them how to survive on the island. Antonio,
Alonso, Trinculo and Prince Ferdinand ended up on the same island as
Prospero and Miranda; this was because Prospero made this happen
using his magic. Prospero had a small little friend, more as an angel
named Ariel. Prospero guiding Ariel brought all these people together
in different ways. When they all united they discovered that Miranda
and price Ferdinand both were in love. Prospero was touched with this
and forgave Antonio for what he had done, and so they all went back
together as a family back to Milan and rule as one.
