Step 1 Log onto http://vista.tafevc.com.au/
Step 2
Scroll down and click on the
link to South West Institute of
TAFE
Step 3
Confirm your computer is
compatible with the TAFEVC3
operating software
requirements.
Complete the Browser Check –
see link in navy top right of
screen
After undertaking the Browser
Check you should see green
ticks against every box.
If you receive a red cross your
browser is not fully compatible
and you need to undertake
some maintenance.
Either contact South West
TAFE or phone TAFE VC
Helpdesk – 1800 896 122 (free
call)
If you don’t complete these
checks you may get annoying
reminders.
If your Java Check has a cross
please follow the
Brower Check – Java Script
instructions
Please note - You can still go ahead and login if you have a red cross in any of the Browser
Check boxes, but please be aware you may experience annoying messages popping up on
your screen.

Log in with the new username
and password given to you in
the email. This username and
password is your student
number and your date of birth
– please do not use the /
symbol in the password.
e.g. 19/03/1955 – will not be
accepted
19031955 – is correct
Once logged in – you may get
a Warning Security message
Click yes
You will see your units listed. Click on the unit you wish to access for study.
