LETTER FROM PRINCIPAL
Dear Parent(s) or Guardian:
It is difficult to express the excitement I am feeling in being the new administrator
of Pipe Creek Christian School. It is an honor and privilege to be at the service of
an outstanding faculty and the wonderful parents and students that make up the
communities of Pipe Creek and Bandera. With all the new changes, I think you
will feel and experience a sense of newness and excitement as you walk through
the halls of our school. I hope that you will feel welcome as you become involved
with your child’s experiences at Pipe Creek Christian School.
Throughout the school year, your child’s teacher and I will be making a special
effort to stay in touch with you. We will keep you informed of your child’s
progress and school activities. Look for papers coming home from school each
day—newsletters, invitations, updates, tips, and reminders.
A few things you can expect this year are: Family Movie Night, Fall Festival, “Mom to
Mom” Group, “Donuts with Dad”, Field Day, Mission Projects, Weekly Chapel, Student
of the Week Awards, Student Council, Reading Program, School Spirit Fridays, Award
Assemblies, Grandparent’s Day, Thanksgiving Luncheon, Christmas Program,
Gymnastics Program, After-school Music Lessons, and MUCH MORE.
Your communication with us is very important. Please don’t hesitate to contact
your child’s teacher, or me, whenever you have a question or concern. The
school’s phone number is 510-6131, and email addresses can be found online at
www.pipecreekchristianschool.org.
Before the first day of school we will need re-enrollment forms and all other
necessary forms such as: updated immunization records, new contact
information, etc... If you are uncertain about the forms that are needed, please
contact the school secretary. Please also remember the new uniform guidelines.
Patches must be worn on all shirts and are available at the front office for $2.00
each. School supply lists may be found on the school website, the front office,
and/or Boerne Wal-Mart.
Open House will be held on Friday, August 21st at 6:00pm. It is required that all
families attend. School supplies may be dropped off during this time and
teachers will be available to answer any questions you may have.
I hope you will take part in your child’s education by inquiring about their time
spent at school. Ask about their friends and teachers. Get involved as they
complete their homework or seek your help on special projects. Encourage your
child to read at least 20 minutes every night, and quiz them on their Saxon math
fact sheets. I am confident that your child will demonstrate greater motivation as
you continue to show interest in their academic and social experiences. We will
certainly work on our end to provide your child with the best education possible.
