First Night Needs YOU! Volunteer on New Year's Eve!

Looking to start your New Year off right by giving back? SHIFT TIMES

Volunteer for First Night Charlotte taking place on Shift times vary but are anywhere

New Year's Eve from 12pm-midnight in Center City! from 3-5 hours long



First Night returns in 2012 with a family-friendly cultural WRISTBAND SALES

celebration with performances taking place at NASCAR • Great for a group! Assist with

Hall of Fame, Outdoor terrace at the Charlotte Convention Center, selling buttons, collecting money and

Bechtler Museum, Mint Museum, The Green, Gantt Center and the main being friendly to attendees. There

stage located at Levine Avenue of the Arts Street! will be 4 booths selling wristbands so

we will need 3-5 people per location

Charlotte Center City Partners is currently recruiting reliable, friendly

and hard working volunteers for First Night Charlotte 2012-An KID'S ACTIVITIES

Imagination Celebration. Taking place on December 31st, 2011 • We'll need help with Crown

volunteers will help with First Night Kids Activities, Wristband Sales Town located at NASCAR Hall of

& Checking Wristbands at Venues! Fame which is where the kids

decorate their own crowns for the

Kids countdown from 4-5pm! We'll

have glitter, jewels and other

decorative pieces for the kids to build

their crown. Additional activities

include helping be an usher for

some of the performances,

monitoring crowd control, greeting

and handing out event guides!

DRESS CODE

• This project includes a great amount

of standing/walking so please wear

comfortable, closed toe shoes.

• Dress warm as the weather may be

cold in the afternoon and during the

evening



ALL VOLUNTEERS WILL RECEIVE: A Holidays in the City branded winter green beanie hat and

green & white scarf! For those that worked the Thanksgiving Day Parade please wear your hat & scarf as it's the

same giveaway for First Night. Thanks in advance!



PLEASE NOTE: Please be on time for your shift! It's important to be on-time for your shift so we can place

you appropriately (especially for the Wristband Sales Volunteers).
