									Volunteer Position: Tent Concierge
To provide excellent service to our guests and help them enjoy their day.

Key Attributes:
Outgoing, friendly and able to provide smiling customer service with a “no
problem” attitude

Description of work:
   Help guests find their tents and tables
   Service each guest by answering questions, giving directions, pouring
     wine, etc.
   Remind guests of the Rolex watch raffle and assist them in
     purchasing tickets from the “raffle ladies” - $25 each or 5 for $100.
   1:40 match begins - move guests chairs to sideline of the tent for
     them to watch match prior to this
   1:45 Help with moving champagne from refrigeration truck to under
     buffet tables, 2:00 set up glasses, 2:20 help pour champagne for divot
     (one concierge from each tent)
   2:30 first silent auction tents closes, second at 3:00. Help remind
     guests to check on the items they are interested in stomp. (One
     concierge from each tent)
   3:10 Record guest commitments during “Call for Cause”. With the
     help of food servers and server assistants you will need to record
     each persons commitment. Please record last name, bid number and
     $ commitment. Please turn in one card per tent to the registration
   Sell centerpieces ($40) and turn in money / envelopes to designated
     runners by 3:00 pm. Mark centerpiece with a sold tag.
   Be present in your designated tent at all times – You will be our
     host/hostess and your service will be what our guests remember

What to wear:
Concierge attire is khaki colored slacks, Capri’s, shorts or skirts (no minis),
and comfortable shoes. You will receive an apron and an event shirt on
Sunday morning.
Day of the event:
The polo grounds on are on Hwy 2 just as you enter Airway Heights, across
from Longhorn BBQ. Please park in the self park area and make your way
to the far end of the field to the volunteer village. The concierge meeting
will be at 10:30, please plan on arriving by 10 am to park and make your way
to the volunteer village, sign in, etc. In the volunteer village you will
receive your black polo shirt and be able to sign up for our wonderful
volunteer raffle – last year prizes include a night at the Davenport, VIP
tickets to the Ronald McDonald Classic Gonzaga basketball game and
more). This will be a place for you to take a break, get something to eat or
drink and even watch a little polo!
