CPC Info letter #1/2009
This letter is sent to the CPC mailing list and CISM judges in order to keep the participants in CISM
parachuting informed about current developments. All parachuting experts are encouraged to forward
the information within their nation.1
1. General
All nations are requested to support CISM parachuting as military sport by
- organising future WMPC or other parachuting events
- support the organisation of WMPC e.g. by sending a team and a qualified judges

The next goal is now to find WMPC organizers for 2012 and later on. The parachuting committee is
confident that you, as CISM parachuting expert of your armed forces, uses your influence within
your CISM Delegation to find a chance for a candidature.

Continental and regional CISM championships/ tournaments:
So far there is one tournament (on invitation) planned for 2009, see 7 Calendar.
If you run a parachuting event it should be included in the official CISM calendar:

Please keep CPC informed about CISM parachuting activities even if they are small or bilateral.
4. CISM parachuting rules
The rules for 2009 are unchanged since 01 March 08.
CPC will not issue printed rules; you may download the pfd file at

or request a copy from CPC Secretary by e-mail.
Next review will be done during 34th WMPC, if you have any proposals please send a message to
CPC.
5. Judges
Judges clinic 2008: was successfully organized in Riga/Latvia,
many thanks to the organizer represented by Maj Anatolijs Samarins, the course director Col(ret.)
Kirk Knight and the instructors.
The enclosed CISM judges list is completed with the results from Riga,
further refresher tests may be done upon request and after approval by CPC.
Reminder:
- CISM will follow current rules and all judges have to do an evaluation every 2nd year
- all nations participating with a team at WMPC have to nominate a qualified judge at preliminary
entry form, i.e. three months prior to the competition.
The delegation, not the organizer or CPC is responsible and “no judge - no team” rule will apply!
All judges who are nominated for WMPC have to hold a valid international license (CISM and/or
FAI) in at least 2 categories,
FAI judges without a valid CISM license must be qualified to judge at IPC 1st category event

your country is on the CPC mailing list, preferable send an e-mail with subject “CPC mailing list“

You may add several other addresses but be aware that any message which is supposed to reach
you, will then always be sent as copy to all your CC addresses.
