Welcomes You!!
Dear New Neighbor,
Every move comes with its challenges, but we hope you are getting settled in your new
home without too many glitches. As you and your family adjust, we hope we can help
make you feel at home more quickly.
The East Greenwich-Cowesett New Neighbors Club is a non-profit social club that aids
newcomers in becoming acquainted with our community and helps to foster new
friendships. Each year we number more than 200 families from all over the U. S. and
around the world. We have a number of activities which are sure to appeal to you. The
activities range from book club, playgroups, gourmet chefs, lunch bunch, bridge, bunco
and that is to just name a few of our many activities. These activities allow new members
to get out and meet others new to the area ultimately helping to make lasting friendships.
We hope you will find some activities to interest you in becoming an active member.
The “New Neighbors” gather monthly at a meeting held the second Wednesday of each
month, September to June, at East Greenwich United Methodist Church
1558 South County Trail – Rt. 2 south of the Dave’s Plaza, meetings start at 9:30 a.m. and
end about 11:00 a.m. These meetings provide an opportunity to find out more about our
activities and meet other club members. Babysitting is available at our meeting site;
reservations are required.
Members of East Greenwich-Cowesett New Neighbors Club pay annual dues of $30 and
receive a monthly newsletter and a club directory. You will also receive access to our
website and all of our fantastic activities designed to welcome you to the area and help
form great friendships.
We look forward to meeting you and sharing many fun activities with you and your
