To access Zodiac Adventures, take the elevator to the 2nd floor (Far East/Imperial) and
go either left (slot side) or right (casino side). Each side has a set of big red doors,
where you enter the Zodiac. The first time you enter, there will be a sage to talk to who
will explain the zodiac to get you started, just accept everything he tells you.
IMPORTANT - Make sure to clear your quest log of all questomatics and powers quests
using Far East/Imperial games, and don't add any more of these while playing Zodiac,
they can conflict with each other, preventing your completed quests from registering as
passed.
After you talk to the sage, you will see 4 doors in an arc - 3 will be shut and one will
have a glowing green circle. These are the four planes of the Zodiac, in order from left to
right - mountain, island, plains and bamboo forest. The glowing green circle is the portal
that is open to enter one of the plains. Each portal opens and stays open for 45 minutes,
then it closes and the next one opens. Once inside a plane, you can stay there as long
1
as you want, even after the portal closes, but if you are outside the zodiac and want in,
you can only enter the plain whose portal is open at that time, or wait until the one you
want opens.
Each plane has 3 large brownish-tan stone monoliths with a picture of an animal on the
front of it. These are what you need to talk to to get your quests. You must complete
the stage one animal from each plane before you can move to the stage two animals,
and so on, but you can do each stage animals in any order, and don’t have to complete
a whole animal if you want to go catch a different plane and try some of the quests
there. Your quest log will tell you which animals you are looking for, and even which
quests within that animal you still need, BUT THESE HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO BE
INACCURATE, so don't freak out if your q log tells you that you still need a quest you
already passed -
when you are at the animal, what it still shows on it's quest list is the thing you go by.
When in doubt or confused - ASK SOMEONE.
You can, and will need to, use your main powers in the zodiac. You do not play with your
own money, so cannot keep what you win.
All directions are given from inside the portal, if there’s a path (forest and plains) follow
the paths. There are no paths in mountain and island.
STAGE ONE -
Mountain - Rat - Turn right, cross bridge, walk to back of mountain
Island - Goat - Straight ahead in front of you
Plains - Ox - Go straight on path, turn left on path, turn left on path, go straight on path
Bamboo Forest - Dog - Turn around and go behind portal, walk back that path (I think
you might have to squeeze around a few rocks)
For stages one and two, after you complete the challenges for each animal, you will be
told to search that plane for four of something (pagodas, turtles, flags, pots, etc) in
order to complete that animal. When you find the thing, click on it to add it to your
inventory (under the quest tab), sometimes you have to try a few different angles to get
it to take, you will get a popup when it's added. You do not have to find all four at once,
and may leave when you get tired of hunting, what you've found will remain in you
inventory, even if you don't finish it til another day. When you have all four, return to
the animal and click on it to give the items to the animal and complete him for that
stage.
STAGE TWO -
Mountain - Dragon - Turn left, go to edge of cliff, turn left and follow cliff edge, go up
2
into mountain
Island - Rabbit - Turn around and go behind portal, wind you way to back of island, then
turn right and wind around rocks to right side of the back of island.
Plains - Snake - Go straight on path, turn left on path, turn right on path, go straight on
path to cross dry creek bed and up to where path splits. Get off path and go about 2
o'clock up hill in front of you. Snake is on top of hill.
Bamboo Forest - Tiger - Go straight to first signpost, turn right. Go straight to next
signpost, go straight thru. When path forks, take left fork and follow to tiger.

3
are on the paths.
One is right in front of you on the hillside before you make the last turn to go to the ox.
One is on the hillside to your right as soon as you come through the portal.
One is on the hillside ahead and to your right when you are facing the ox.
The last one is in the grass to the left of the path when you walk past the lake.
ORBS - One is directly behind the portal, back by the rocks.

BAMBOO FOREST -
TURTLES - #1 - Go straight thru to 2nd signpost, turn left. Go back and take the right
fork.

the way back, staying straight when path forks, to dead end.
STAGE THREE -
Mountain - Monkey - Turn right, cross bridge, go just until you can see rat but dont go
all the way to rat, turn left and go between break in cliffs to edge, turn right and
squeeze along cliff edge to path winding up, go thru clearing until you come to priest
bowing in middle of clearing (remember where he is, you will need him later) - priest is
facing break in cliffs to your right, go thru break and wind down path, cross bridge, go
to back of mountain to monkey.
Island - Pig - turn right, go to beach, turn left, go thru tunnel, go straight to pig
Plains - Rooster - turn around and go behind portal. Red door in hillside on your left will
be open once stage 2 is complete. Go inside door and take left fork to rooster.
Bamboo Forest - Horse - Go straight on path to first signpost. Go straight thru on path
to 2nd signpost. Turn right. Go straight on path to next signpost and turn left. Wind all
the way back that path til it forks and take the left fork to horse. If you miss the fork,
the path will dead-end, just spin left when you get to dead end and you will see the
4
horse off in a clearing in that direction.
STAGE FOUR - SORCERER
After you complete all 12 animals in the first 3 stages, you will be told to speak to the
priest on the mountain (directions above). He will tell you to go play the sorcerer's
challenges and he will open up a new bridge for you to get there. The sorcerer is on the
mountain. Follow the directions to go to the monkey (above) - BUT - stop as soon as
you can see the monkey, do not go up to him. On your left will be a break in the cliffs.
Go thru that break and turn right to squeeze along the cliff edge to get to a small
clearing. Go thru the tunnel on the other side of the clearing, then cross the next
clearing. The new bridge will be at a break in the cliffs at about 11 o'clock. The sorcerer
has 12 sets of 3 challenges each, one set for each of the 12 animals. YOU MUST
COMPLETE A WHOLE SET OF 3 WITHOUT GETTING BOOTED OR LOGGING OUT OR
SWITCHING PLAYERS OR YOU LOSE PROGRESS ON ANYTHING IN THAT SET THAT
YOU'VE COMPLETED. You may exit to the casino and wait for powers to regenerate or
play something else, but you cannot log out or get booted or switch player names. And if
you exit to casino, keep in mind that the portal for the mountains is only open for 45
minutes once every 3 hours. These challenges are very difficult, so I would recommend
logging out/in just before heading in to play the sorcerer, to give yourself the best
chance to hold connection and be able to complete a whole set at a time.
The sorcerer is the final stage to beat the zodiac, however, you may continue on to get
the level 4 power upgrades, if you choose.
You will be awarded 300 quest coins upon completion of each stage, for a total of 1200
quest coins once you've beaten the sorcerer. If you choose to go for the level 4
upgrades, you will get one quest coin per quest (all four upgrades would be roughly
350-400 more quests, for that many more quest coins).
ZODIAC POWERS AND POTIONS
You earn zodiac powers by playing the zodiac adventures. You earn zodiac potions by
getting loot in Egyptian adventure battles, or by buying them with diamonds won in
battles from Zarash in tent city in the Egyptian adventure.
Maximum power level you can earn in zodiac is 4. The power level of your zodiac potions
will always be what you earned in zodiac plus one - in other words, if you have not yet
played zodiac, your zodiac power level is zero, so your potion power level is one (zero
plus one).
When you use a zodiac potion, its power level will always be your CURRENT zodiac level
plus one - NOT what the value was when you earned or bought the potion. In other
words, if you don't use any level one potions that you earn, and hang onto them until
you have zodiac at level 3 or 4, then use the potions, they would have the power of a
level 4 or 5.
5
You earn the four zodiac powers from the stage two animals in zodiac. Each of these
animals will give you five quests, and when you beat them, it will award you the zodiac
level one power for that animal. Then it will give you 3 more quests to beat, using your
new power. Once you have earned your first zodiac power, two things happen - one is
you will have a floating creepy stalker guy following you everywhere in zodiac and
scaring you when you turn around and he is in your face - two is, you must ALWAYS
choose an available zodiac power to use in ALL future quests in the zodiac. Just choose
the power by clicking on it there on the quest list, then highlight and accept your quest.
If you forget to choose a power, it will remind you.
ZODIAC POWERS -
DRAGON - adds random wilds. Upgrading this power will make it appear more often,
make it give more wilds, and sometimes make the wilds stick for a few spins.
SNAKE - adds random wild reels. Upgrading this power will make it appear more often,
and increase the chance of two wild reels instead of just one.
TIGER - bonus round multiplier. This appears on EVERY bonus while it is active,
regardless of its level, but the multiplier starts at 1.5 for a level one and goes up .5 for
each level upgrade.
RABBIT - spin til you win with a multiplier. Rabbit does not count losing spins when it
activates and starts at 1 spin with 2x multiplier and goes up 1 spin and raises multiplier
by 1 for each level upgrade, plus activates more often.
TIPS - Having put 3 players all the way thru level 4 upgrades and tried every
combination, I've found these to work the best:
All quests for bonus round credits - use tiger.
All three-reel for total credits - use dragon.
All quests for so many winning spins out of a total number of spins - use rabbit.
All quests for winning spins with a timer - use dragon or snake and your hypers.
Everything else, I try dragon one time and snake another, some games like one or the
other better. There will generally be one or two quests in every set where you will also
need your main powers in addition to the zodiac power. You can also use any potions
EXCEPT the zodiac potions in here.
When using potions, you can use other potions at the same time as zodiac potions, but
you cannot use two zodiac potions together.
UPGRADING ZODIAC POWERS -
Every time you pass a quest in the zodiac you will be awarded a certain number of a
certain token that you collect to upgrade your zodiac powers.
6
Level one animals award 1-3 pcs
Level two animals award 4-6 pcs
Level three animals award 7-10 pcs
Mountain gives prayer flags - give to the priest for dragon power upgrades (see basic
zodiac info for directions to find the priest)
Island gives treats - give to the little boy, halfway down the island on the beach, for
rabbit power upgrades
Plains give fish - give to the fisherman, on the end of the dock at the lake, for snake
power upgrades
Forest gives bamboo - give to the woodchopper, in the middle of all the signposts, for
tiger power upgrades
You need 35 of each item to upgrade to level 2 (once given, they are removed from your
inventory and you start over collecting pcs) You need 150 of each item to upgrade to
level 3
These items will show up in your inventory, under the quest tab. Keep an eye on your
total, and as soon as you get enough, go turn them in for an upgrade before you do
anything else. Believe me, the upgraded powers will make your life SO much easier. You
may notice that your quest log will also tell you to 'return to the fisherman' or whatever,
as soon as you've collected enough for an upgrade.
You should have enough for a level 2 upgrade by the end of the stage 2 animals or after
only 1 or 2 quests on stage 3. You should have enough for the level 3 upgrades midway
thru the sorcerer. You will have some of everything left over after you complete the
sorcerer.
Level 4 upgrades are completely optional, but will give you level 5 potions, and these
are powerful, not to mention they activate every 30 or so spins, as opposed to every 80
or so spins at lower levels. You need 750 tokens for each level 4 upgrade, you can
upgrade whichever ones you choose, do one or two or all of them.
After completing the sorcerer, you go back into whatever plane you need for the power
you want to upgrade, and go to any of the animals you want to play to collect your 750
tokens. Obviously, the stage 3 animals give more tokens, so everybody pretty much just
plays them, but if you find any of their quests really objectionable, you can go play the
lower level animals for less tokens, it will just take you longer to collect 750.
If you choose to upgrade all four powers, I recommend doing them in the following
order - do island first, to upgrade the rabbit, that level 4 rabbit will save you so much
misery when you do the other upgrades, and the quests the rabbit is good for, your
7
powers are useless, nothing helps BUT the rabbit. After the rabbit is upgraded, I did the
forest to upgrade the tiger, for the same reason as rabbit - those bonus credit quests
are better beaten with the tiger than your main powers. After those two, its a coin flip
between the
mountain and plains for dragon and snake.
