dtox Day Spa Announces the Debut of Happy Hour Fridays
The Eastside’s Only Full-Service Day Spa to Offer Mini-Spa Treatments During Premiere Event

Atwater Village, Calif. – dtox day spa, the Eastside’s only full-service day spa, specializes in treatments that
detoxify the body through massages, facials, scrubs, and wraps, and detoxify the spirit using natural therapies such
Reiki and Restorative Flow Yoga classes, announces its Happy Hour Friday premiere event, which takes place on
Friday, September 29, 2006. A gift basket containing free products/services from local area communities to be
raffled with all proceeds going to Friends of Atwater Village, a non-profit organization made up of volunteers
that work to improve, preserve and restore Atwater Village through neighborhood clean-ups, mural projects and
community involvement.
WHAT: dtox day spa’s Premiere Happy Hour Friday Event will include complimentary drinks
(including organic cocktails), hors d’oeuvres, free mini-spa treatments (massage and
hand/feet treatments), a raffle and giveaways and music.

Vast yet intimate, the original brick masonry interior walls, giant wooden bow trusses, and cool concrete floors
give the facility an industrial, yet natural ambiance. A modern and tranquil setting with a high dose of Eastern
influences, dtox day spa’s co-ed central Atrium, with its bamboo wall panels, weeping potted palms, diffused
natural daylight, and cascading double waterfalls. The spa provides men’s and women’s locker areas, showers,
steam and sauna rooms, vanity, private seating areas and yoga studio. Using all natural products, including oils,
lotions, and cleansers, dtox day spa provides facials, massages, manicure/pedicure, salt and sugar scrubs, a wide
variety of wraps, waxing and tub treatments. Special packages include blah, blah, Body, dtox Appaloosa and
custom couple’s treatments. In addition, dtox day spa offers Restorative Flow Yoga classes that combine the
elements of flow, light massage and classical restorative poses. Classes include use of sauna room, steam room,
