HAPPY EASTER

From the Golf Shop ~ Tom Costello III, Head Golf Professional

Yes, April is here, and you know what that means…..GOLF! I don’t know about you, but I can hardly

wait. The snow is melting, and we will be opening soon. As I am writing this newsletter, the weather

has been awesome, let’s hope that it continues.

New merchandise is arriving daily. The new Pro VI and Pro VIX golf balls are in. Lija clothing for la-

dies, the new Taylor Made Burner Driver, Adidas men’s and ladies shoes, and many more items are ar-

riving all of the time. We want to make our golf shop the best in the state again, so come on in and see

what we have this year.

Happenings in golf this year are that the Tuesday Night League is still in need of one more team. Call

the golf shop if you are interested. Also, Team Captains of the Tuesday Night League, call the golf

shop with your roster for the year.

The season-long 4-ball is taking sign-ups in the golf shop. You don not want to miss out on this so

please call the golf shop, and we will get you ready for the upcoming season.

Play Golf with the Pro will be Thursday at high noon (12:00). Cos and three members will be starting

on May 10th. I am blocking the 12:00 tee time to play with three different members each Thursday. So

Ladies, Men, Families, and Juniors call and sign up for this fun time. You will get the chance to play

with a golfing stud! Just kidding, we will certainly have a blast though. I hope to get the chance to play

with every member.

We are anxious to get going. It has been a long and cold winter. Remember to sign up for golf lessons

and tune-ups for your games, so by the time we get rolling, you will be a star!

We’ll see you soon!

The Jeremy Golf and Country Club Utah Guest Artist Program

Matthew Wolf

Matthew Wolf’s intricately detailed works of the Native American Culture soundly

captures its strength, spirituality and independence. Each piece incorporates a strong

emotional quality that illuminates the underlying story of each of his subjects. His

subjects are thought provoking and soulful, and each of Matthew’s pieces provides

the viewer with an opportunity to form their own perspective and interpretation of

the art.

Matthew relies on sound technique to produce his visually stimulating works of art.

In developing his unique style, Matthew finds graphite to be the most suitable media

for his detailed explorations. Rendering small sections at a time, Matthew subtly captures the nuances of

light and shadow to convey texture and feeling within his subject material. Oil paint is then carefully added

to complete the composition with significance and artistic integrity.

In 1993, Matthew moved from Detroit, Michigan to the Utah mountains to

pursue his passion for painting and the outdoor experience. In the time he has

been in Utah, he has worked as a commissioned portrait artist, fine artist, spe-

cialty faux finish painter and even action sports model. A native of Michigan,

Matthew received early recognition for his talents. He was a recipient of art

educational scholarships which enabled him to obtain a degree in illustration

from the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan.

His work has captivated both corporate and private collectors nationwide

from Seattle, Washington to Connecticut. Matthew displays his work in vari-

ous shows and galleries in the intermountain west. He has further donated

certain limited edition reproductions to the Park City Peace House, a Utah

charity which supports and funds housing for abused women; he has further

donated much of his time and effort to the National Multiple Sclerosis Soci-

ety, and to the M.S. community.
