Express your support for a new community health center, run by El Centro Family Health, to be
located in Taos.
Explain why you support a community health center in Taos, for example:
Describe a situation where you needed health care and were not able to receive it
Describe barriers to accessing health care such as no health insurance, not enough money
for co-pays, health insurance doesn’t cover something you need
Explain if you can’t afford to pay for medicine or lab work
Other barriers to health care (transportation, disrespect, previous unpaid bills, etc.)
Express support for El Centro Family Health, for example:
You or family, friends, or neighbors already go to the health centers in Embudo, Peñasco,
Española, etc. (which are run by El Centro Family Health)
You have previous experience with El Centro clinics and can speak to their quality
patient care, affordability, respect for local people, cultures, etc.
Add anything else you would like to say such as how it will impact your life to have a
community health center in Taos, why this is needed now, how it will be good for Taos, etc.
