Robotics Program
3E Robotics, LLC is a new company formed to provide unique humanoid robots for entertainment and educational purposes. We are dedicated to bringing exciting robots into homes, schools and businesses. We believe that the next technology boom will be in the area of personal robots, and a primary goal of ours is to help prepare our youth for it. We believe that the sooner we can influence the youth, the better prepared they will be to compete in and be a part of the future workforce. We strive to make lasting impressions that may make their future educational experiences more meaningful.
The Robotics Program
Robotics is a fun way to expose your child to engineering and technology. The four course program presented by trained instructors, is specifically designed for ages 6 thru 12. The curriculum is based upon 3E Robotics’ unique humanoid robots. Your child will have fun as he learns about robots, builds robots, and even designs robots. The classes include unique robot kits, computer simulations, and video presentations.
Program Courses
These unique robotics courses are filled with practical hands-on activities, that will leave a lasting impression on your child that can lead to an improved school experience and better academic performance. Introduction to Robotics This first course serves as an overview of the entire program. The student will learn to identify robot parts and understand how they function and relate to their own body. They will also learn about basic mechanical parts - screws, nuts, bolts. The students will practice the basic skills necessary to build the unique robot kits. Robot Assembly This course focuses on kit building. The students will independently build several kits. The hands-on kit building activities, using simple tools, will help improve their eye and hand coordination. Robot Control This course focuses on ways that robots can move and be controlled. The students will learn to use a step-by-step methodology to solve problems. The hands-on activities include interacting with a specially designed robot control apparatus. Robot Design This course focuses on how robots are designed. The students will use drawing templates and their imaginations to design their own robot. The students will be introduced to Engineering CAD (computer aided design).
