Experience

The exhibition has not

proven a succes for the

Dutch exhibitors in the

pavilion. An estimated visitor

number of 2.000. Interest

mainly for Bachelor

programmes, mostly

tourism/hospitality. Level of

English often not acceptable.

The fair started slow on the

first days. The last day was

the best. Most of the visitors

were interested in Master

programmes.

The students were not very

familiar with the Study

opportunities in Holland. The

level of English was very

high. Mainly interested in

master programmes.

Neso Indonesia participated

at the fair, in joint

cooperation with Neso

Vietnam and the Royal

Netherlands Embassy in

Singapore.

Nuffic has participated several

years at this fair with Dutch

institutions. Although satisfied,

the general feeling of the

institutions was that it good be

even better. Therefore it has

been decided to take part in

another education fair in Brazil

in 2008.

Experience

Neso Beijing has succesfully

articipated many years at this

fair, where also a large

number of Dutch institutions

have been present.

Several Dutch institutions

had indicated to prefer

participation at this fair in

stead of the BMI fair. This

year will be the first

participation here.

Since the beginning of the

fair, Dutch institutions have

been very positive,

especiallly about Mexico

City. Neso Mexico is one of

the organisers.

Nuffic has participated at this

fair in the fall twice before.

However, the Dutch institutions

indicated that the focuss of the

visitors was not specific

enough.

Neso Beijing and a small

group of Dutch institutions

participate each year at this

fair in Hong Kong.

Experience

In 2006 the fall fair attracted

33.000 visitors. The Dutch

participants were content with

the results. The focus of visitors

was generally more on

Bachelor than Master

programmes.

Unfortunately MOET has

postponed the fair. It is not

certain when the fair will take

place.

Nuffic will organise a Dutch

pavilion at the fall edition of this

fair.

Nuffic is mentioned as one of

the prestigious internation

clients, but is not participating

in this fair, and has demanded

several times to remove us

from this list. In the past Nuffic

participated once, but the Dutch

institutions were not satisfied

with the quality of the fair

visitors in New Delhi.

A lot of interest for studying

abroad, but not specifically

Holland. The level of English

is good. Interest for Master :

Bachelore = 60:40.

The Dutch booth was very

well visited, not in the least

because of the location of

the booth and the exposure

as sponsor of the event. The

level of English was good, as

was the interest of Study in

Holland.

Experience

Nuffic participated at this fair in

2007 with a group of Dutch

institutions. The location of the

pavilion was not optimal. The

fair focussed on Bachelor

students.

In 2007 this fair was taken off

the schedule, because it was

too hard to make arrangements

for a pavilion.

Experience

Exporation

Dutch participants in 2007

were much more pleased

with this fair than with the

RTV Media fairs in previous

years. Neso Russia will

organise a pavilion at this

fair only.

No pavilion in Izmir (14) and

Bursa (16), though

institutions can apply for

individual participation in

these cities through Nuffic.

Pavilion will be organised by

Neso China.

Nuffic visited the fair in 2007. It

does not only focus on

education, but also on career

opportunities. Exhibitors reflect

that. Relatively expensive. Lots

of individual designed booths,

which make the standard

booths look a bit cheap.

Application at www.ehef-

jakarta.org until 30 May 2008

Please contact Neso

Indonesia to indicate your

interest for participation.

Experience

Nuffic has participated at the

first edition of this fair in 2007.

The number and interest of the

visitors was very low. Nuffic

does not recommend this fair at

this stage.

Neso Taipei succesfully

organises the Dutch

participation at this fair.

Neso Russia will partcipate with

a Study in Holland booth. The

Dutch pavilion will be organised

at the International Education

Fair - Destination Europe (4-5

October 2008).
