The objectives of TECHnique are:
Purpose: 1. To expose the Stevens community to various styles of dance some of which
include but are not limited to
a. Popping
b. Locking
c. Breaking
d. Whacking
e. Tutting
f. Vogue-ing
g. Jazz
h. Tap
i. Lyrical
j. Jazz
2. Bring in outside choreographers to further the dance education in the above
styles of the Stevens community
3. Provide a forum for dancers and would-be choreographers to share their
talents
4. Inform the Stevens community about what is going on in the outside dance
community
