The Government vide G.O. under reference 1st cited has accorded
administrative sanction for an amount of Rs. 84.39 Crores to the Commissioner &
Director of Municipal Administration for restoration of damaged urban
infrastructure during Cyclone storm ―LAILA‖ in the month of May,2010.
The C&DMA, Hyderabad have accorded administrative sanction for
various proposals in different ULB’s & entrusted execution of works to the
Engineer-in-Chief (Public Health). Accordingly estimates were prepared, tenders
invited, works awarded to various agencies and the same are likely to be
Therefore, the Executive Engineers (PH) Quality control Divisions,
Visakhapatnam and Kadapa are informed that the said works are of urgent
nature & are to be completed within period of 45 to 60 days time. They are
requested to pay special attention to the works and closely monitor the quality of
works in Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Guntur & Nellore Circles by making
frequent visits to the works.
