LONG RANGE PLAN
A. To conduct advisory committee meetings to determine meeting topics
1. Advisory committee will include chapter officers and representatives of the
farming community as well as agribusiness
2. Minority representation will be included in all advisory meetings
B. Special attention shall be given to increase GYFA membership by at least 10 per year
C. To work with participants in the YF apprenticeship program and use this as a bridge-gap
to increasing YF membership after graduation
D. To be available to assist all ag students with their SAE projects
E. To work cooperatively as a member of the local Livestock Show Committee
F. To work with all governmental agencies in disseminating information and deadlines on
program participation
G. To have a greater member participation in state and national Young Farmer activities
