Present Working in Obeetee Pvt. Ltd. From 19.06.2006. This company is a
Status renowned manufacturing company in carpet industry established in 1920.
At present its group annual turnover is 200 crores. Registered office of
this company is situated in Mirzapur (U.P) whereas factory is situated in
different location in Panipat (Haryana), Gopiganj, Bhadohi (U.P) and
Pantnagar, Rudrapur (Uttaranchal). It has two wholly owned subsidiary
companies, one is Obeetee Textiles Pvt. Ltd. Situated in pantnagar,
Rudrapur (Uttaranchal) and the other is Obeetee Inc situated in New
York (U.S). I have been posted in its centralized Export Department as
Sr. Manager (Export). Being head of the department I am looking after
following functions:
Looking after all the export and import
Supervision of invoicing
Treasury management
Service Tax Matters like deposit refund etc.
All the matters related to Central Excise
All the matters related to Custom Act
Co ordination with CHA, Shipping Line Govt dept like custom
excise DGFT & Bank.
Study and work on Foreign Trade Policy.
Hedging exchange risk through forwards, options and futures
etc.
Monitoring the market in terms of forex and exchange risk.
Transfer Pricing Audit & Certification.
Supervision of documentation & filing of Export related
activities like EPCG, Duty Draw Back, and FPS/FMS etc.
Experience (1) Worked in Century Textiles & industries Limited. (B.K. Birla group
of companies) in it’s Cement Division from 01.03.2004 to 10.06.2006.
This company is a renowned company of Birla Family having annual
turnover Rs. 3000 crores from diversified businesses like Shipping,
Textile, and Pulp & Paper & Cement.
I was in internal audit department. I have audited various
departments of .all the three Cement units.
(2) I have completed my article ship from Vineet Aggarwal & Co.
Varanasi. During the article ship I have undergone with the following
exposure:
Internal & Statutory audit of charitable institution & various
firms.
Finalization of accounts up to preparation of Balance Sheet &
filing of income tax returns.
Income tax liasining with the authorities of income tax.
Concurrent audit of banks.
