covered by award conditions and workplace agreements.

Voluntary work is not paid.

2. A career is the sequence and variety of occupations (paid

and unpaid) which one undertakes throughout a lifetime.

More broadly, 'career' includes life roles, leisure activities,

learning and work.

3. A career incorporates all the work, learning and life roles

you undertake, so even the very young are just beginning

their career.

4. The skills and abilities developed are useful in many

career fields, not just music.

5. Some businesses operate day and night to keep up with

demand for the goods they produce or the services they

deliver.

able to take career-related decisions; and of being able to

b. Career includes life roles, hobbies, learning and work.

4. Professional musicians can use the skills and abilities they have developed…
