HIST 1312-008
Final Exam Study Guide
Fifteen of the following terms will appear on the exam, from which you will pick
ten to identify. For each identification, you must provide the approximate date or
time period in which it was important (i.e. “1930s,” “The Great Depression,” or
“FDR’s administration” would all be acceptable answers); a 1-2 sentence
definition (i.e. what it was); and its significance (i.e. why it was important in the
context of this class—what impact did it have, or what larger phenomenon is it
representative of?). Each answer is worth 10 points: 2 for the time period, 3 for
the definition, and 5 for the significance.
