DonorsChoose.org to Offer Savings on
MyCollegeExploration.com Program and
Support Teachers and Students in Need

Making a donation to DonorsChoose.org in support of a needy classroom project reduces
initial price of Path Insight’s MyCollegeExploration.com Program for college-bound students.

tips and resources to help people create the path to success in school, career and life,
announced today that they teamed up with DonorsChoose.org to support teachers and
students in need as part of the latest release of the their MyCollegeExploration.com Program.
DonorsChoose.org is the innovative national online education charity that allows public
school teachers to seek independent funding for classroom supplies and resources via its
website.
Path Insight’s MyCollegeExploration.com Program leads college-bound students through the
steps of selecting, applying and deciding on the right college and being prepared to succeed
in college and life. This program helps students and their parents save money by having a
better idea of their ideal future career, major and school.By completing the program,students
will realize the power of self-discovery in choosing their college, their major, and creating the
path to their ideal future.
Since Path Insight’s MyCollegeExploration.com Program helps students, Path Insight wanted
every college-bound student to be able to see the value of the program and wanted to be
able to promote college readiness for all students.

world, but unfortunately there are many deserving students out there from kindergarten
through 12th grade who are in schools where teachers simply do not have the financial

On DonorsChoose.org, teachers from every corner of America post requests to fund a
special project at their school and individual “citizen philanthropists― get to choose which
project they want to support.

“DonorsChoose.org was the natural choice to allow us to meet our goal of helping prepare
students for success in college and life,― O’Donnell continued. “Also, we really feel we are i
time when giving back to others is critically important, so this ties into our mission quite well.
We were going to make a donation with every purchase of our program, but DonorsChoose
provides such a great opportunity for each individual to choose the project they want to
support. That way, they can pick a project in their city or one of special meaning to them.
Therefore, when a buyer makes a donation, we greatly reduce the fee for our program, so it’s
like we are still making the donation, but the buyer gets to choose where the funding goes
and then they would be the ones getting thank you notes from the classrooms.―

page, the initial price of Path Insight’s MyCollegeExploration.com Program is reduced. After
checkout, buyers are directed to Path Insight’s giving page on DonorsChoose.org where they
select the classroom project of their choice to help teachers from around the nation fund
projects to help their students.
