Mower County

FAIRGROUNDS

The Mower County Fairgrounds is the site of the Mower

County Fair as well as cattle shows and horse shows and

the National Barrow Show®. The six day Mower County

Fair, which has been held for over 125 years, takes place

each year in early August and attracts fairgoers from

across Minnesota and the Upper Midwest. The National

Barrow Show®, (also known as the “World Series of

Swine Shows”®) is held in early September and has

called the Mower County Fairgrounds home for over

60 years.



The Mower County Fairgrounds has over 40 acres of

fence-secured property and newer buildings with over

50,000 square feet of indoor exhibit space penning, a portable stage, picnic tables, benches, and
