1 6oz. can evaporated milk
2 tbsp. water
2 cups cubed ham
2 cups cooked rice
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1 (10oz.)package frozen asparagus spears
1/2 cup corn flake crumbs
3 tbsp. melted margarine
Stir milk and water together, and combine with ham, rice,
cheese, soup and onion. Thaw frozen asparagus spears in
microwave or pour boiling water over and let sit a few min.
until thawed. Drain. Spoon half of ham mixture into 7x11
inch baking dish. Top with asparagus spears, then with
remaining ham mixture. Mix corn flake crumbs and butter
and sprinkle over top. Bake 350 degrees for 25 to 30 min.
or till top is golden brown. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
