Main Duties & Answering any telephone calls
Administration for admissions
To assist in providing an effective administration service to include: filing, photocopying and scanning
To support the team with an efficient data entry support service ensuring data is entered accurately,
efficiently and in a timely fashion.
Ensure databases are maintained and continual access of data will be required
Administration for exams
Computer programmes that will be used are, Word, Excel, SIMMS
Ensure that confidentiality is maintained at all times (both in and out of working hours). Any
filing/shredding of a personal nature should be dealt with as soon as possible.
Typing letters and dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence
Ensure clean and tidy environments are maintained.
To undertake training and development as required.
To work in conjunction with the team to ensure all aspects administrative support are appropriately
covered including maintaining cover during absences.
Any other duties appropriate to the grade of the post that may be reasonably required by the

Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Business and Administration
Technical Certificate in Business Administration Level 2
Functional Skills Level 1 in Maths
Functional Skills Level 1 in English
Future prospects: Following on from Level 2 there maybe the opportunity for progression onto an advanced apprenticeship at Level

The post is offered on a Vision Apprentices Contract of Employment although you will be based at a local
