an opportunity checking account in which they will give
you a visa debit card. There is a $10.00 monthly fee
but this can convert to a free checking in 1 year if you
have no more than 4 overdrafts in the year.

personal banker I talked to told me, but there
is nothing to stop moving to another bank once
off of chexsystems).
If you are on Chexsystems for Account Abuse
(or anything but fraud) and a balance is listed,
they will open an account for you, and if you
pay the old debt off and handle the account
properly and prove that the debt is paid, the
bank will eventually upgrade the account to a
regular checking account.
Restrictions on Opportunity Checking:

No Debit Card- You only get an ATM card
I do not know if they use EWS or not, they are
inside of Wal-Mart and we now know Wal-Mart
uses EWS, nobody ever found out and the
personal banker didn't know either.

open before you know it's safe and won't be

I am also not sure if ACH transfers can be done
to and from the account (if so, I could transfer
some of my dd to my debit card which allows
