Agency Employment Employment History

September 2008 - present  Employed in the Digital department in this multi disciplined

Ainsworth & Parkinson marketing communications agency, where I am responsible

Digital Media Director for all digital and online aspects of work undertaken.

 Undertake analysis of client’s internal and external marketing

status.

 Management of digital projects from initial conception and

critical analysis of clients' online presence focusing on

usability, technical build quality, accessibility, effectiveness of

communication and search engine optimisation, through to

planning and delivery.

 Ensuring projects are delivered to specification, on time and

within budget.

 Development of website site maps, project schedules and

time delegation through the creation of Gantt charts and

google calendar management.

 Develop website architectures and solutions front and back

end, plus bespoke in-house CMS.

 Build Xhtml/CSS compliant websites from design through to

development, specialising in build for SEO.

 Day-to-day development and management of agency

websites and online services.

 Liaison between clients, account management and production

teams in a professional manner, using good communication

skills and background knowledge.

 Responsible for social media strategy, and analytical data

Summer 2007  Under the guidance of Alistair Audsley (Managing Director), I

Solus Strategic undertook work experience at Solus Strategic Advertising

Work Experience Agency.

 Supported both the Marketing Communications Manager and

Digital Designer with devising and developing brand

communication strategies for new business clients.

 Conducted research for client’s online marketing efforts,

including social media/network development.

 Responsible for the development and formation of brand

guidelines for a Treasury Management client, through

which I honed my skills and abilities to work closely with

creative directors.





Summers 2001, 2002 and 2003  Working directly with the Isle of Man Government and various

Premier Print other clients in this fast-paced environment, I undertook

CAD Designer several projects within the Digital Department.

 Involved in a broad selection of projects producing press ads,

brochures and annual reports. Edited marketing copy.

Created and managed the studio database.

Summer 2007  Responsible for the creation, development and management

Barclays Bank Premier of a project database management system, in response to the

Accounts Management integration of a new business take over.

 Assisting customers via the telephone, e-mail, fax and other

technologies providing quality answers and status updates in

a timely manner.



Summer 2006  Responsible for data inputting, liaising with clients and

Cayman National Bank general office duties.

Trust and Company  Strengthened my skills in dealing with business customers,

Administrator liaising over the telephone and in person, and in working

accurately under pressure.

 Solely responsible for creating and manipulating a safe

custody database to improve, thus secure the way safe

custody files were entered and removed from the Safe.



Summer 2005  Used my background knowledge and understanding to pick

Fort Island Hotel Complex up the use of Sage Line 50 quickly and build up systems for

Accountants Assistant both running of the Castletown Golf Links Hotel and The

Macrie Hotel. Including invoicing, receipts, payment, bank

reconciliation, etc.

 Working to a busy schedule undertook several positions

including inputting, filing, processing invoices, and agreeing

payments.

Hobbies I have a developed keen interest in art and design in a variety of

manage a number of domains and websites. My websites have

developed from experiments in marketing and advertising to

moderate hands free businesses.



In my spare time I also enjoy keeping active undertaking a variety

of sports, not least football, squash and tennis.
