Dr. Gary Brown Honored by LINLA
   Gary A. Brown, PhD, chair of the
Department of Ornamental Horticulture,
was named 2008 “Man of the Year”
by the Long Island Nursery & Landscape
Association (LINLA). Dr. Brown, who
also is an alumnus of the college, was
honored for his lifetime contributions to
horticulture and the horticulture industry
