Course Outline

Overview
This five day instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to
understand 300-level information on Microsoft Lync Server 2010. The course focuses on
what's new in Lync Server and the Lync Client. Migration from existing Office
Communications Server 2007 systems is also included.

The students will have extensive hands-on with the system as they complete the in-
depth labs.

This course is intended for experienced IT Professionals who need to deploy, maintain
and/or support Lync Server 2010.


Prerequisites
Before attending this course, students must have a good level of knowledge of Microsoft
networking, Certificate Services, and Microsoft Windows Server 2008. Students should
have experience with Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 and knowledge of
Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 or 2010 is desirable.
