A JOYFUL HEART – JANUARY 2010 SPIRITUAL DAILY DOSE
We have appreciative reasons to lift up God and exalt Him to the
possible highest level, for what He did to our heart in being
FAITHFUL last month. An appreciative stance moves us to count
our blessings, and see how fortunate we’ve been in God’s hand.
This poise reels us to a JOYFUL HEART this month. “God has
   designed us for happiness. He has created us for peace and joy”;
according to Catherine Marshall. A joyful setting keeps us in
readiness to receive from God. As we move on in the new month,
with A JOYFUL HEART, it is quite sure that the LORD will be ready
to respond to us in our bright and pleasant state. Your cheerful
disposition should cause a spiritual contagion this month in Jesus
name. Whenever people around you ask why you are full of joy,
simply tell them that God is doing some great things in your life.

COMMENT: The human heart is naturally selfish and often destructive.
Without God as top priority, we will likely be governed by the pursuit of
earthly goods. But when He is our first love, those warped cravings are
replaced by desires that fit His will and purpose for us. And God is able
to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all
sufficiency in all things may have an abundance for every good work……
         (2 Corinthians 9:8).
For God’s sake take it solid, your sufficiency is not in your material
wealth .
They are perishable items regardless of value and cost. Simply said and
supernaturally authoritative, your sufficiency is in the LORD, Who all
the treasure in heaven and earth belongs to in all ramifications. It is a
wise decision for you to have as David encouraged us in Psalm 37 to
seek God diligently as he did. Then if you allow God to be your
obsession henceforth; then you’ll be filled with a continual poise of a
A JOYFUL HEART. Pastor Victor Brown Amudipe – July 1, 2008.
