Intergroup Meeting Minutes
NOVEMBER 10, 2007
Meeting opened by Manny at 10:33 a.m. 2nd tradition was read.
Roll Call and Attendance – Attendance sheet was passed and all that signed were here.
7th Tradition basket passed.
Secretary's report – Minutes were read by the group. Minutes accepted
Treasurer's report – This week received a check for 60.00 from the Tuesday meeting for
the amount of 60.00. So we have money, will find out at the December meeting the true
amount.
Committee reports:
1. Public Information /Newsletter– New directories have been printed and look
wonderful! Working on a 4 page newsletter by next month focusing on step 12 or
tradition 12. Will add the website address. Website up and running. 2 messages left
on the phone. Checking on setting up an account on the HOW website.
2. Special Event – Position still available.
3. Literature: As of today we have 234.65 in the literature account. Will go through and
put in a order for literature. Teen sponsor guide will be archived.
4. Retreat - Lighten Up in Recovery. Still going as planned!
5. Area One – Nothing new to report. Left a message for Maria to find out about how to
send our 10% contribution. Not too sure who to send it to.
Old Business: Raffle postponed to next IG. Adult Child format for the Monday meeting.
New Business: Raffle ideas. Give a language of the heart book By Mr. Bill. We will
reimburse Monday Night meeting for supplying the book. A motion wad made
and passed to give the book as the raffle prize. Janeva won the raffle!
Saturday Camarillo meeting will not be held on the 24th of November.
Thursdays Simi is undecided whether or not they will be open.
Big News!!! Nominations for the 2008 board. Chair… ROSE! Vice Chair… Manny! Secretary in a
month… Marc! And we are looking for a treasurer… 6 months abstinence
requirement!.... Any Takers???
