Role description
The role will be a permanent, full-time position based in Brisbane or Canberra, (working
from home) or Melbourne, based in our exciting waterfront offices supporting
schools/systems across southern Queensland, Canberra ACT and NSW. Predominantly
working with central system staff they will collaborate with curriculum leaders, senior
education officers and professional learning teams as well as with students and teachers
in the classroom. Melbourne

This cutting edge role will involve working within our Education Team in partnership with
teachers, school leaders, school systems and internationally recognised educational
thinkers to co-design curriculum-focused, technology-rich projects in support of high
quality teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will be an excellent and innovative classroom practitioner who
has experience of using Learning Management Systems and other technologies with
students from K-12. It is also desirable that they have been involved in whole school or

system-wide change and can demonstrate an ability to interpret and analyse data and
school planning documentation.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the following personal and
professional attributes:
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Creative thinker
Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to work independently, as well as
within an agile team
Sound understanding of the principles, strategies and contemporary pedagogies
underpinning quality learning and teaching
Deep understanding of the role of ICTs in contemporary classrooms
Excellent knowledge and understanding of pedagogical and curriculum
frameworks
Ability to foster and maintain collaborative professional relationships
Ability to manage time effectively and deal with conflicting priorities
High level organisational skills
Canberra and Brisbane based employees must be prepared to travel to the Melbourne
office at least once per month with possible overnight stay to work with the rest of the
team.
