Please note the following regarding deadlines for PP25 time and attendance
submissions and leave donor applications under the Voluntary Leave Transfer
Program (VLTP):
_*Deadline for PP25 Timesheet Submissions*_:
*With the exception of NIST, this is to advise that all pay period 25 (December 10
through 23, 2006) time and attendance reports MUST be submitted no later than 5pm
Eastern Time, Tuesday, December 26, 2006.*
*For NIST, all pay period 25 time and attendance reports, as well as the
supplemental file, MUST be completed no later than COB on Friday, December 22,
2006.*
Supervisors are reminded that employees may not be advanced more annual leave than
they will accrue through the end of this leave year (i.e., pay period 26/2006).
_*Deadline for Leave Donations*_:
Many employees generously donate leave under the Voluntary Leave Transfer Program
(VLTP) this time of year.
Please remind employees that if they wish to donate Use or Lose Annual Leave, they
may only donate the _*lesser*_ of 1) half of the number of hours they will accrue
this leave year (i.e., through PP26) or 2) the equivalent number of hours for
which they will be working and receiving pay during the remaining pay periods of
the leave year (this calculation excludes holidays and leave hours used).
Additional information on the Leave Transfer Program is available on the DOC

Although OPM Forms 630A (within agency) and 630B (outside agency) are accepted,
_*it is preferred for donors to use the CD-505 form*_
(http://www.wfm.noaa.gov/pdfs/cd505fill.pdf) as it makes application processing
far more timely and efficient which is critical during this traditionally busy
time of year.
To ensure adequate processing time for the anticipated large volume of leave donor
applications, we would greatly appreciate receiving applications by the following
deadlines:
Donations to be processed in PP25: no later than Tuesday, December 19th
Donations to be processed in PP26: no later than Friday, December 29th
The sooner the donor applications are received, the better! Applications should
be sent to:
