Instructions
Column a, Measure ID. E.g., "ECM 3", "O&M 1". Assign each ECM and O&M an ID number and a line in the Project Summary Form, with all columns filled out.
Column b, Measure Code. See CITS ECM Codes.
Column d, Number of Items. Number of motors, chillers, fixtures, etc.
Column e, Total Capacity (or amount). Use hp for motors and VFDs; tons for chillers, air conditioners, heat pumps and compressors; square feet for windows.
Column g, Funding Code. S = Standard, C = Custom, R = Rebate, O = O&M 1 cent/kWh, N = none
Column h, Baseline Code. E = Existing condition, C = Energy code, P = Standard Practice (for equipment, such as air compressors, that the Energy Code doesn't cover)
Column j, Incremental Cost Code. IT = deemed to be 25% of the total cost, IM = deemed to be 50% of the material cost, IA = actual incremental cost, defined as the difference between a bid
for the proposed and the bid for the baseline, T = incremental cost equals total cost.
Column k, Per-Unit Incremental Cost: Column i divided by column e.
Column m, Funding Adjustment Code. B = 10% bonus, C = ECMs combined, P = 6 mo payback limit, M = multiple funding sources capped at 70% total cost, N = none.
Payback to Customer (years) = (ECM Incremental Cost - ECM SCL Contract Incentive Amount) / (ECM savings x cost/kWh). The payback must be more than 0.5 years.
