Augustine "Austin" Amamchukwu Ejide (born 8 April

1984) is a Nigerian football goalkeeper. His name, Amam-

chukwu, means "Do I know God´s wish?".[1]

Born in Onitsha, Anambra State, Ejide has played for

Gabros International and SC Bastia in Corsica, which

competes in Ligue 2 of the French Football League. He

currently plays for Israeli Premier side Hapoel Petah Tik-

va.
