It’s Newsletter Time!!
By Chelsea Anderson
I am glad that I have the chance to be
informing you of all the great news that the
sorority has been doing so far this semester
and what we plan on doing! One piece of
information that I would love to share with
you, if you can not hear it in the words of the
sister updates, is that I feel we have grown
so much as a sisterhood this semester. We
have not only grown closer to each other but
I can really tell God is working in each of our
lives. He has also given us a chance to share

Bible Study Committee
By Angel Reavis
This semester all of the sisters seem to
have a busy schedule so we are moving bible study
around. We have bible study once a month on
Monday's at Catherine's. Then we alternate
between Tuesday's and Wednesday's at Ashley
Bailey's and Ashley Corman, Erica, Lauren, and
Emily's house. This semester we opened up with
our first bible study where the sisters were able to
invite a friend. This was something that I think the
sisters enjoyed because they could bring someone
new into the sorority to find out what it was all
about. Also we are allowing sisters to pick their

Bible Study is something that is very important in
our sorority and we hope to learn and grow from

A little bit of sun, a little bit of sand, a
whole lot of sisterhood! Our annual fall
sisterhood retreat was held Oct. 3-5 in Myrtle
Beach, SC. Our theme for this year was
"Shining Stars for God" as we spent the
weekend discussing ways that we shine in
everyday life as well as other ways that we can
spread God's word as lights for him! The
weekend was beautiful as we all hit the beach
for some fun decked out in our "SAO Brand"
sunglasses! We spent most of Saturday
afternoon and evening taking our "field
trip" to the Barefoot Landing shops and eating
out at "Johnny Rockets" where some of us
danced and sang along with the waiters! The
weekend was a great bonding experience for
all the sisters and we look forward to the
spring with our "new member candidates" :) Dinner at Johnny Rockets
