TITLE: Steele Residence Water Line
DESCRIPTION: Work under this contract consists of providing all labor, materials, and equipment required to
install a new 2” HDPE water line approximately 2,100 lineal feet, purchase water meter from Rural Water
District No. 1, excavation and compaction, removal of existing 1,200 gallon buried cistern, in accordance with
the specifications and drawings.
LOCATION: Marais des Cygnes National Wildlife Refuge, Pleasanton, Linn County, Kansas

PROPOSAL DUE DATE: 6/4/2008
SPECIAL NOTE: The Government currently does not have an approved water line permit from the State of
Kansas. It is anticipated that the permit request process will be completed on or about May 28, 2008. All proposals
received, must allow for a minimum sixty calendar day acceptance period from the proposal due date.
