renewable grants of up to $5,000 available for students over 3 years. Straus Scholars

graduating in 4 years with a 3.0 GPA or higher are eligible for an additional $5,000 grant

to pay down loan debt.

 We also have scholarships available for graduating seniors from Baltimore City College,

Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, Forest Park High School, and Woodlawn High School. These

Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship

 A federally funded program offering a merit scholarship for outstanding high school

seniors who have been accepted at an institution of higher education. The federal

government allocates the funds that determine the amount of the scholarship award.

 Must be a high school graduate during the same academic year in which the scholarship

is awarded

 Must be accepted for enrollment at an eligible institution of higher education

 Must be a resident of Pennsylvania

 Must be a U.S. citizen or national, or be able to provide evidence of permanent

residency

 Expect to be a FULL-TIME freshman student enrolled at an eligible institution of higher

Central Scholarship Bureau (CSB)

 Award amounts p to $10,000 per year in scholarships and interest-free loans

 Each scholarship has slightly different eligibility requirements, but follow basic guidelines (see

below). The sole exception is the Stulman Endowed Scholars Program, which does not require

students to be permanent Maryland residents. Specific details for each program can be found in

the drop-down menus on our website. We offer scholarships for undergraduate and graduate

study as well as for career training.

o Enrolled or accepted full-time student

o Established permanent residency within the State of Maryland for at least 1 full year
