HOUSE RULES
1. Guest hours are from 4:30pm to 9:00pm, Monday through Friday, 12:00pm to
10:00pm Saturday and Sunday. No overnight guests are allowed at the
Transitional Housing Building.
2. The Transitional Housing building is a smoke free environment; thus no smoking
is permitted in the units or the common areas. The designated smoking area is the
gazebo in front of the building.
3. The playing of televisions and radios at loud levels is disruptive and will not be
tolerated.
4. All electrical appliances are to be turned off when not in use. This includes lights,
fans, radios and televisions.
5. You will be held accountable in the event of loss and/or damage of the
Transitional Housing property caused by you.
6. You are responsible for cleaning your apartment unit. Refer to “Housekeeping
Standards”.
7. Pets are not permitted in the Transitional Housing building or on the grounds
8. You are not permitted to give your electronic keypass to anyone so entry to the
Transitional Housing building can be gained. Violation of this rule may result in
discharge from the program.
9. You are not permitted to do the laundry of anyone other than your self or another
resident of the Transitional Housing program. Also, do not place your laundry in
the washer or dryer and leave the building.
10. Anyone unsuccessfully discharged from the Transitional Housing program cannot
visit or be on the property of this building.
11. Guests of the Transitional Housing program cannot be involved with inpatient
treatment at the VA Hospital.
12. After Guest hours are over, residents need to limit their activities to the
Transitional Housing Building area and the parking lot unless coming or going
back to their apartment.
