SALARY: £17,500 per annum
DURATION: 12 months, commencing July 2011

DIVISION INTRODUCTION:
Warner Bros. Entertainment UK represents the coming together of all the UK
business units that make up Warner Bros. Entertainment: Theatrical, Home Video,
Television and Consumer Products.
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The intern will become an integral part of the Marketing department.
You will work closely with the department members and you will have a wide range
of key responsibilities and objectives. These will include managing materials and
creative, sending out updated info packs to clients, manage broadcast info on TV
titles to update promo partners.
EXAMPLE PROJECTS AND SKILLS
Create and populate film files and notify key personnel of changes
Manage the sourcing and delivery of creative assets to agencies and exhibitors
from WB systems and inventories
Liaise with WB media agencies to prepare competitive reports on both a timely
and ad hoc basis
Manage the booking of meeting rooms
Prepare presentation documents in Word, Powerpoint, or Excel in preparation
for lifecycle meetings and other business as advised
Compile activity wrap reports
Research competitors promotional activity
Research potential clients promotional activity
Manage artwork submissions from partners into various formats

To complete these projects you will need to liaise with company personnel both in
the UK and US, by telephone, fax, email and in person. You will need to be a
confident communicator. You should have good research skills and follow through
on projects ensuring their completion.
SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED:
1. Excellent (fluent) working knowledge of Word and Excel, and some experience of
using databases.
2. Experience of using the internet for research purposes.
3. Business Studies, Media Studies, journalism or English undergraduate preferred.
4. Should have solid GSCE and A level results, or equivalent.
5. Must be well organised and disciplined with the ability to prioritise workload and
use time effectively.
6. Must be self-motivated and work with limited supervision.
7. Must be able to communicate with people at all levels in a professional and
mature manner.
8. Must be analytical and pay close attention to detail including spelling.
9. Must have a proficient and confident phone manner.
10. Some previous work experience would be advantageous.
