Tuition:

The tuition is calculated based on the number of instructional days in a pre-school
term X 3 hrs X $ ----- per hour.
There are 3 pre-school terms in a year (4th week of Aug-Nov, Dec-Mid March, Mid March
to Mid June).
The pre-school is run according to the Pleasanton Unified School District Calendar.
Tuition fee for the entire term is due on or before the 1 st day of the pre-school term.
An overtime rate of $5.00 per family for every 15 minutes will be charged if you are late

picking up your child.
Parent/guardian further agrees to pay a $25.00 service fee and for all charges incurred
by our preschool due to any non-sufficient funds in your checking/savings account.
Child absences (due to illness, parent days off, etc.) will not reduce your fee.
The tuition fee will not be refunded under any circumstance, once it has been paid.
Security/Holding Deposit
You are also required to pay a refundable security deposit of $ 250.

A preschool position will be considered open and available until the entire tuition fee for the
term and a signed preschool contract & admissions form indicating a start date has been
received by the provider.
Evaluation Period:
Your child will be evaluated for a period of 2 weeks. If we determine that our preschool
program is not the right fit for your child we will refund the prorated tuition fee and ask that
you find another preschool program that caters better to your child’s needs.
Medication:
NO Medication will be administered by Learning Tree Preschool staff to the children at school
unless we have a signed authorization form to administer medication to your child. In case of
emergency 911 will be called. In non emergency situations the parent will be called to
administer the medication.
Medical Authorization:
Valli Annamalai has permission to provide all personal care to my
child(ren)_________________________________ including medical attention authorized by a
medical doctor. It is understood and authorized that my child(ren) may be transported to the
nearest medical facility or hospital. All expenses including ambulance transportation will be
borne by the parents/guardians.

Photography/Videos
Please also note that we are providing notice that we will be taking pictures/videos of your
children during preschool hours or special events run by the preschool. They will strictly be
used only for advertising the preschool.

Termination Procedures:
This contract may be terminated by the parent/legal guardian by giving a month written notice
in advance of the ending date. Learning Tree Preschool may terminate the contract without
giving any notice.
Field Trip Transportation
An adult must accompany your child at all times during the field trip. Learning Tree Preschool
does not provide transportation for field trips. You are responsible for driving your child to and
from any field trip the preschool might organize.
Signatures:
I/We have read, fully understand and agree to abide with all policies and procedures as
described in the Learning Tree Preschool Policy Handbook & the Learning Tree Preschool
Contract & Admissions Form. I/We understand that Valli Annamalai of Learning Tree Preschool,
the provider may amend the policies at anytime by giving the parents/guardians a copy of the
new or updated policy at least two weeks prior to becoming effective. Failure by Learning Tree
Preschool to enforce one or more terms of the contract does not waive the right of the
preschool to enforce any other terms of the contract.
This contract is entered into by the parents/guardians and provider (Learning Tree Preschool)
and will remain in effect until termination of care OR the signing of a new contract. By signing
below, all parties agree to the contract terms and understand this is a legal binding document.
